The modelling of the distribution network is of fundamental interest for analysing the conducted propagation of unintentional and intentional electromagnetic interferences in the power-grid. The propagation is indeed highly influenced by the channel behaviour.

In this paper we investigate the effects of appliances and positions of cables in the network. First, the power-grid architecture is briefly described. Then, the principle of Experimental Design is described. Finally, the application of this well-founded methodology to power-grid modelling is discussed.
