Securing Tomorrow, Today: Transitioning to Post-Quantum Cryptography
Publié le Saturday 30 November 2024
ANSSI, the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI), their Dutch partners and 15 other European Union member states issued a joint statement on the transition to post-quantum cryptography on 30 November 2024.
In light of the quantum threat and its implications for the security of current cryptography, it is becoming urgent to deploy hybrid post-quantum cryptography solutions. This is why post-quantum cryptography (PQC) must become a top priority and be implemented immediately. Through this joint statement, France, Germany and the Netherlands are inviting all European Union Member States to join the working group dedicated to post-quantum cryptography within the NIS Cooperation Group.
