SICW 2025: ANSSI spearheads French-Singaporean cooperation in the field of cybersecurity
In late October, as France celebrated 60 years of diplomatic relations with Singapore, ANSSI renewed its participation in the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW).
Following the signing of a global strategic partnership between France and Singapore during a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron last May, ANSSI took part, between the 20th and the 24th of October, in the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW). Each year, the event brings together over 10,000 participants from 90 different countries.
During this tenth edition of the most important international cybersecurity conference in the Asia-Pacific region, ANSSI’s director-general Vincent Strubel participated in high-level roundtable discussions on topics such as the Pall Mall process. These discussions were held alongside bilateral meetings with other international partners also in attendance. The conference provided an opportunity to further strengthen the several-year-long cooperation in place between ANSSI and its Singaporean counterpart, the Cyber Security Agency (CSA), created in 2015 and headed by David Koh.
For several years now, ANSSI and the CSA have benefitted from a fruitful relationship which, in June of 2023, was further reinforced by the extension of a cooperation programme which had begun in May of 2018. This extension was a confirmation of the historic trust shared between the two agencies, and a testament to the value of their exchanges.
