The digital transition favours innovation and growth, yet it simultaneously carries risks for the State, economic stakeholders and citizens. Cybercrime, espionage, propaganda, sabotage and excessive exploitation of personal data threaten digital trust and security.
For years, France has been engaged in ambitious European initiatives to build a stable and secure cyberspace. One of these initiatives is the European cybersecurity month, the EU’s annual awareness campaign that takes place each October across Europe.

Coordinated by ANSSI, the national authority on cybersecurity and cyberdefence, this event aims to raise awareness of cyber security threats and provide advices and recommendations to adopt both at work and at home in order to significantly raise the level of computer security in France.

For the 2017 edition, many French institutional actors (ministers, national authorities, associations) all over France will take part actively in this campaign so as to reach a large audience. Conferences, digital campaigns … all the activities will be registered on the ENISA official website as well as on a dedicated web page : www.ssi.gouv.fr/mois-europeen/ .

Follow the French program on Twitter #TousSecNum and #ECSM and become an actor of the event yourself by sharing the advices and recommendations online !
