General interministerial instruction n°1300/SGDSN/PSE/PS

In 2019, France engaged a reform of its classified information legal framework, reviewing its general interministerial instruction n° 1300/SGDSN/PSE/PSD, in order to match with its partners. This new legal framework, applicable to both physical or legal, private or public persons, redefines the number and the label of classification levels. It also defines organization, rules and requirements regarding the protection of digital or non-digital classified information. It covers fields such as physical security, physical or legal person’s accreditation, classified information systems security.
